About
Hhk Hotel occupies a 19th-century mansion once home to Hayriye Hanim, an Ottoman lady. The property retains its original soul with antique touches and a fireplace in the breakfast room. It sits on a quiet residential alley in the Suleymaniye district, about a 10-minute walk from the tram station and a 25-minute walk to Hagia Sophia.
The hotel runs a seasonal outdoor pool, a sun terrace with views over the Golden Horn and Bosphorus, and a restaurant serving Turkish breakfast and dinner. Staff are frequently praised for going out of their way, from airport pickups to early breakfasts before a marathon.

8.2Verified guest“Stayed a week and found it spotless, peaceful and newly furnished. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the sea view was unique. It's close to the tram, shops and restaurants. They even offered free airport pickup. Very good value compared to other Istanbul hotels, and the restaurant chef made delicious fresh meals. I recommend it for a holiday.”

8.2Verified guest“The location offers a view of Istanbul as it was 30 years ago.”
8.2Verified guest“I've tried everything from 4-star Taksim hotels to the Ritz Carlton, but this is the most unique. It's a converted mansion in a small alley near Suleymaniye Mosque, a short walk from the Grand Bazaar. The staff were incredibly helpful, from airport pickup to any request. Breakfast was a feast of Turkish dishes with a Bosphorus view and a fireplace. My superior double had Ottoman-style design, great views, and was very clean. Free high-speed Wi-Fi was a bonus. I even enjoyed a chat with the owners over chestnuts. I can't complain about anything – I felt welcomed and pampered.”
8.2Verified guest“Very friendly staff, always helpful and smiling. The room was comfortable and clean.”
8.2Verified guest“The staff welcomed us and offered an airport pickup, which was excellent as we arrived late. It's a 10-15 minute walk from Hagia Sophia. Rooms were quiet, breakfast good, and the restaurant has a lovely view of the Golden Horn and Bosphorus Bridge. Before the Istanbul Marathon, they went early to get bread for us. The hotel felt serene. Dinner is available, and there's a cafe up the street. The area is a bit 'fixer-upper' but safe and welcoming. A unique, non-chain hotel.”
